Grandma
Kisses
10-8-05 at 19
months
I had such
feelings of pride and love
When I first saw
you today.
All the
emotions that I felt inside
Words cannot
begin to say.
Nothing makes me
happier
Than
seeing your precious face.
My
feelings overwhelm me
That time can
never erase.
No matter how
many months go by
Until I see you
once again
You always seem
to remember me
As if it comes
from within.
You came right
into my arms
Sweeter kisses
could not be found.
I held you
tightly in my arms
Until you wanted
me to put you down.
Your brown eyes
looked around
Taking
in all that you could see.
Your brown hair
sparkled in the sun
As you ran
around with such glee.
I looked at your
baby hands
With little
dimples at each finger
I stroked
your arm to feel the softness
And there I
wished to linger.
Soft cheeks made
for a grandma to kiss
Oh, nothing
could ever replace.
I could
just spend hours
Looking at
your precious little face.
I can't seem to
get enough of you.
I could give
up hours and days
Just watching
your every move.
I love you more than words can say.
