  Nearness of
You
Sometimes the
nearness of you
Is a sensation
so breathtaking
I feel as if I
will explode
From the emotions
I feel inside.
 Words cannot begin
to describe
What I encounter
in my heart
Passions of
euphoria and sadness
All at the same
moment in time.
Emotions untouched
by me
Of both distress
and joy
Pleading they will
become as one
And let my
uneasiness be.
Moments when I
hold you close
I hold forever in
my mind
Believing the
mere sensation of you
Will force my
fears aside.
